is a queer Xicanx writer, editor, and organizer from Dallas. they are the Lead Poetry Acquisitions Editor and Managing Editor of Abode Press, a Texan nonprofit press founded on antiracism, anticolonialism, intersectionality, and empathy. They are A Roots. Wounds. Words. Fellow and tin house alum. SG is the author of two poetry chapbooks and the nonfiction chapbook GOOD GRIEF (fifth wheel press 2025). THEIR DEBUT POETRY COLLECTION Burns IS FORTHCOMING WITH SUNDRESS PUBLICATIONS. They write about trans/literary things in their newsletter, trans poetica. They live in Texas with their partner and two cats. they believe in liberation for oppressed and colonized people everywhere.
